I like the omnidirectional sound, you can hear them just as well from any place in the room. Plus, it gives you a more of a 3d sound experience, maybe as a result of reflections from walls and stuff, but anyway it sounds a lot better than regular 2.0 speakers. That probably is not something that everyone would desire, but for me it sounds a lot better this way.

These speakers also look great next to my monitor, the design is simple and elegant. If I had one complaint, is that they are a bit large, I would guess that the same sound could be obtained with slightly smaller enclosures. I looks like these speakers are now discontinued by Logitech, and because of that they recently have been in clearance at most retailers that stocked them. This was a great opportunity to get them at 1/2 or less of their original $100 price, and at anything less than $50 they are definitely a good deal.
